These studies require interdisciplinary experience in many different fields, from electronic component design and production to biological test development. For this reason, Project teams containing experts from different disciplines, based on the project management methodology and quality management processes and principles were established. Also, a laboratory infrastructure was set up to enable these studies to be carried out in the most effective way. By means of this infrastructure, it is aimed to develop innovative and groundbreaking new generation diagnostic devices and control systems.

With mobile products that can work on-site, national firms can take part in high volume production, systems integration, maintenance etc., with the ultimate aim of national & international deployment in cited applications.

The first order of FORDEX was produced.

The first production FORDEX device was completed and delivered to VERİSİS A.Ş. The previous version of the device, FORENSIC XP, was also developed by TÜBİTAK BİLGEM in 2004 and exported to more than 10 countries. The FORDEX device, which is an improved version of the FORENSIC XP device with superior features, is now available and it will be produced and presented to the domestic and international market by VERİSİS A.Ş.

Mass production of Transcutaneous Bilirubin Measuring Device is starting soon.

The technology transfer process of the device, which was developed by TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Bioelectronic Systems Department, was completed in line after completing the training and delivering the production documents to the production company. AYMED Medikal A.Ş. is expected to start production and sales activities in 2022. Thus, our dependence on foreign countries for the supply of jaundice measuring devices will come to an end.

Production documents for Dissolved Oxygen Sensor were delivered to TÜBİTAK MAM.

Within the scope of Dissolved Oxygen Probe technology transfer, production documents covering TÜBİTAK BİLGEM work packages were delivered to TÜBİTAK MAM in accordance with the Project agreement made between the production company and TÜBİTAK MAM. The dissolved oxygen probe and controller developed by the Department of Bioelectronic Systems are used to measure the amount of dissolved oxygen in wastewater. The device will be used not only for wastewater facilities, but also for online monitoring of seafood (fish, shrimp, etc.) production farms, lakes, rivers and streams for dissolved oxygen. Thanks to the developed device, our dependence on abroad in this field will also come to an end.

Working Principles Agreement was signed between TÜBİTAK BİLGEM and TÜBİTAK MAM.

Within the scope of the project carried out by the Department of Bioelectronic Systems, a Basic Working Principles Agreement was signed between TÜBİTAK BİLGEM and TÜBİTAK MAM in order to cooperate on the development of Environmental Measurement Systems. In this way, R&D cooperation between the two institutions will be possible in the development of environmental measurement sensors and probes such as dissolved oxygen probe, pH meter, conductivity measurement probe.

Achievement certificates were presented to UMKC Project employees.

Achievement certificates were given to the project employees at the ceremony held by the Institute for the completion of the distribution of devices to the fuel stations and fulfillment of exchange and training activities of the new generation National Marker Control devices all over the country. The National Marker Control Devices and Inspection System has been developed and produced by TÜBİTAK BİLGEM since 2007 in order to prevent the distribution of fuel obtained through unregistered production and smuggling in the oil market, to ensure the highest level of control of the fuel market and to increase tax revenues. Since 2007, by the units of Police, Gendarmerie, Coast Guard, Undersecretariat of Customs, Ministry of Industry and Technology; It is used in the detection of illegal fuel during inspections at refineries, fuel stations, transport tankers, and storage areas.
